The good news
Christian faith confesses that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead. God meets our need not with an opportunity to purchase acceptance, but with grace. We cannot undo every wrong or make ourselves righteous by achievement. In Christ, forgiveness and reconciliation are offered as a gift.
First Corinthians 15 places Christ’s death and resurrection at the center of the gospel. Ephesians 2 describes salvation through faith as God’s gift, not earned through works. The response is repentance and faith: turn toward God, acknowledge sin, and trust Jesus rather than your own performance.
Respond freely
You do not need an email address, donation, or perfect emotional experience to approach Christ. Ask honestly, read the gospel, and take time to understand. Repentance is a changed direction, not simply being frightened. Faith is trust in Christ, not a demand to silence every question.
A voluntary prayer
If these words express your desire, you may pray in your own words:
God, I need your mercy. I turn toward you and away from my sin. I believe Jesus died and rose again, and I place my trust in him. Forgive me, teach me to follow you, and help me love others. Amen.
This suggested prayer is a way to express repentance and faith in Jesus. Prayer expresses faith; reciting a formula is not a mechanical guarantee of salvation. No prayer or private response is submitted or recorded here.
